Temporarily closed. Drove there and just a hand written note on the door. No mention of how temporary the closure is, and google and their website mentions nothing it suggests they are open. Note simply says "hope we open again soon". You hope? What's hope got to do with it? And the note further says "follow us on gram and facebook". WHY? WHAT EXACTLY AM I FOLLOWING? YOUR CLOSED INDEFINITELY! Follow you? Cmon. In the tech age there's zero excuse for this behavior... I could have not wasted my time.
They had amazing Chicken Pho, and the cook/possibly owner was so polite and welcoming! Everything was cooked to order there and AMAZING. The two younger individuals who assisted me were very kind and made sure I had everything I needed. I had ordered to-go and they made sure to bag the noodles and broth separately to make sure there were no leaks. The restaurant was extremely clean and quaint. Definitely recommend!!!
I purchased a few boba teas(signature fruit tea & passion fruit boba) and one coffee boba. They're in a 20oz cup and filled with so much ice we couldn't put our straw in the cup so we poured out the liquid into a measuring cup and out of the 20oz cup there was only 8oz of liquid for the 2 fruit teas and only 5oz of liquid in the coffee boba. The signature fruit tea on the menu picture had big pieces of fresh fruit. On the contrary the signature fruit tea I received had tiny pieces of the fruit and the peel is still on it, which made it taste really bitter. Definitely not worth the money I spent. Do better than to deceive your customers!
Simple good food. Came on this side of town to check out raisin canes. Saw this place next door and changed course. Glad I did. Bahn Me was very flavorful. Served on a fresh baked baguette. Pho also ok but not a traditional beef broth. Reasonable prices.
I kind of don’t know what to say. But I’m gonna power through. Atmosphere was dismal. The chicken pho tasted like a canned chicken soup broth. The chicken was flavorless. There were fresh onions and cilantro in the “pho” which was literally the only plus. The soup was missing every single flavor you expect from a pho. The baguette sandwich was also fairly tasteless but somehow very wet. The baguette part was pretty good. But the uniform shape of the baguettes indicate they aren’t made in house. The Pepsi from the soda fountain was flat. Spent $40 to take a few bites and leave.
I just had a sit down meal in this restaurant and I can say it exceeded my expectations. It’s one of those casual spots with a small menu that’s very well done. I had the combo with the pork banh mi and caramel boba combo for around $12 dollars. It came out in around 10 minutes. Absolutely delicious. Deceptively filling. I highly recommend this place for a casual meal around college town.
Veggie pho is delicious! Pork Bah Mi is amazing and milk tea is on point! Place is clean and staff is very friendly! High recommended!
Boba was decent and baguettes are small good and filling. Quite cheap overall too.
